Part-Time Mental Health Therapist (Hybrid)

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Position Type: This is a W2, Part-Time role (8–10 sessions per week)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule w/ option for fully remote if needed
Compensation: Pay commensurate with experience

About the Position

  • Flexible part-time schedule (8–10 clinical hours per week)

  • Fully remote work environment

  • Supportive, collaborative practice culture

  • Clinical supervision for qualifying unlicensed clinicians

The ideal candidate has an interest in working with individuals (adults and children), couples, and families, and is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each client's unique needs. This would be a great role for a pre-licensed clinician looking for experience in private practice with a range of client types without the need to commit to a full-time caseload, or for a licensed clinician who is looking for a flexible and supportive part-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, family, and/or child psychotherapy using evidence-based, client-centered approaches.

  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.

  • Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in supervision or consultation as needed.

  • Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with licensing board requirements.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

  • Licensed in New Hampshire (LCMHC, LICSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent), or license-eligible and working toward independent licensure.

  • Interest or experience in working with children, couples, and families.

  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable providing services through a secure telehealth platform.

Supervision

Clinical supervision will be provided for unlicensed candidates who are working toward independent licensure, making this an excellent opportunity for pre-licensed clinicians seeking a supportive practice environment. Supervision will be provided at no charge for clinicians seeing at least 8 clients per week.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should submit a resume and a brief statement of interest (1-2 paragraphs) to erik@grayareatherapy.com.
